The process of coating an object that has a surface that is conductive to electricity using organic materials. The conductive surface is connected to an electric current as the cathode, while the coating uses a positively charged paint in the form of an electrically charged water medium. Cathodic Electro Deposition (CED) objects are metal, easily electrically charged. The organic material used is contained in the paint or can be added through the process steps.
